Singing Penguins

Once again I'm back with another Christmas card using Pion's "Long Ago in Bethlehem" papers.  I love my new "Winter Wishes Lantern" die.  I cut some gold paper out and glued it to the back to make them look like shimmering lights. I also had some Scrapiniec holly leaves left from last year so I covered them with a gold ink from an ink pad I've had in my stash for years!

I made a couple poinsettia's using some cream Foamiran and the new Whimsy "Lily/Poinsettia die".  For the centers I added some heart stamens and also some poinsettia centers but I add some gold glitter to match my card.  I even sprayed some gold glitter overtop the flowers.

Eeeeee heeeeee this image from Wild Rose Studio is called "Singing Penguins".  Awwww they are sooo cute!!  I've colored them up using my distress inks as I could hear them screaming to be used!  It's been so long I felt a little rusty so I colored more images up as well.  You'll be seeing those soon.  😀

I've been hoarding this twigged "golden star of David" for awhile (lol) but it suited this card perfectly!  I just had to use it!  I added a red flower using Rosy Owl's "heart flowers", added more cream heart stamens and added some gold Stickles to a few of the heart stamens.  I'm kinda all about matching stuff on my cards.  LOL!

And here's the other red flower at the top of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
